Winter 2014


Our Winter Concert series was titled, Our Favorite Things and celebrate the 10th anniversary of Beth Armstrong’s direction of the Greater Tiverton Community Chorus.  Members voted on selections performed during her tenure to include in this special performance, along with a wonderful arrangement of  Rogers and Hammerstein’s My Favorite Things.  Pieces included classical favorites, 20th Century English Christmas Classics, 20th Century American Christmas, favorite Christmas carols and as always, our traditional Hallelujah!


Spring 2014

Music included in the spring 2014 concert series focused on the theme of water.  The Chorus used the opportunity to conduct a highly successful fund raising drive to support the work of the Westport River Watershed Alliance and the Nature Conservancy in Rhode Island.  The series also included a tribute to Pete Seeger.

Winter 2013

Our Christmas 2013 concert was entitled “Breath of Heaven.”  The concert featurde Schubert’s “Mass in G” and other holiday music, accompanied by a string orchestra.

Spring 2013

Animal Crackers– Animal themed music including a twist on the traditional piece Old MacDonald, the comical Duet for Two Cats, and the familiar sounds of Broadway’s Cats.

Winter 2012

A Celtic Christmas- Celtic music of the season accompanied by Celtic fiddle, pennywhistle, bodhran, recorder, and bagpipe.
